I love the Mexican burger here. And the drinks are handmade! The service is okay, if you're looking for a waitress to take their time to get back with you. The dining areas can get quite crowded due to the small area space. (Do not recommend the enchiladas) Recommend the "Mexican burger" and "El Ranchero" **The fried chille rellenos are amazing!

First of all, this is EXACTLY what I want when I want to get college town Thursday margarita wasted on tequila, gossip and chips and salsa. Second of all, I find their quesadillas delicious I'm in love!

Not only is the service excellent, the food and presentation is awesome. For a little hole in the wall, I was super impressed!!!

The food is amazing and the servers are very attentive and welcoming. The margaritas are literally THE BEST I have ever had. Just go...you won't be disappointed.

Small restaurant in a strip mall. Very busy for a weekday lunch. Ordered to go. Food was almost ready when I arrived. Server obviously had her hands full with to go and tables, still very pleasant. Ordered a kids beef burrito meal ($8.99) and an adult Enchiladas La Loca with green sauce ($11.99). Both entrees were very good in flavor and ample in portions. Chips and salsa came with the order, and the salsa had a nice kick to it. To go charge of 99 cents was added, which I think is reasonable, since I"ve worked in the restaurant business and know the cost of to go items is not negligible. In fact, I'd rather pay a to go charge than have the cost of the items on the menu go up and I have to pay an inflated price because of to go orders (and Uber Eats, and Door Dash...). Now, it would have been nice if there had been TWO sets of plasticware included. We will be back for more to go.

Atmosphere was average, service was excellent, dinner arrived fairly quickly but the food quality varied. Chicken enchiladas were very good, but the chicken itself seemed blah. The steak fajitas were perfect. Tender and lightly seasoned allowing the ingredients to stand on their own. It was our first time and I will come back to explore the large menu.

This place is so Yummy! we have been there three times and it has easily become our go-to. The staff, service, and food always please. We get the steak fajitas and they are so flavorful, some of the best I've had. I almost don't want to share how much we enjoy this place in fear it'll get busier, but it's too good to not give the love they deserve.

I was on my way back to Port Sulfur from getting a few things from Lowes. I was hunger & wanted Mexican food! I called in an order. When I paid for order the owner asked my if I'd like a margarita to go. I said "let me have a large Top Shelf "! After I paid for my order & the large "Top Shelf" I was given a large Strawberry Margarita. He said they were promoting their Strawberry Margaritas. Anyway, the food was fantastic & they had great hospitality! I ordered the Burrito Supreme & Taco Salad.

Yikes, talk about some harsh reviews! Maybe we're simply easy to please, but I LOVED this place. Normally we're El Patron fans, but Jalapeño's is a bit closer to home and we stopped by on a whim passing by. Parking was wide open, the restaurant was decently quiet (maybe four other groups dining while we were there?), the service was fantastic, the raspberry top shelf margarita with sugar on the rim was one of the best I've ever had, and the food was DELICIOUS! I'd say this restaurant experience was on par with El Patron, or even better, and I'd be thrilled if they offered a Taco Tuesday - I forgot to ask. If they do, we'd probably skip El Patron altogether. We'll definitely be back!
